Blue Phoenix was born in 2022, with the goal of offering you the most unforgettable trip you will have in the Red Sea. With 3 years of experience working in the field, we want to share our knowledge and passion.
During your stay, you will get the chance to see dolphins, turtles, lion fishes, napoleons, barracudas, sharks, and many other various marine animals.
Are you a diver? Come with us on one of our diving trips to explore the colorful and magnificent dive spots around the Red Sea.
Are you not a diver? No problem! Join one of our Sataya Dolphin Reef trips to experience swimming with wild dolphins and discover the beautiful reef, snorkeling.
Your accommodation will be a beautiful 35m long yacht totally renewed. With a maximum of 22 guests, you will have many opportunities to meet people and share stories as well as find time and space to relax.
Blue Phoenix is a small, family size company with a desire to take care of every participant.
We support Egyptian small businesses and individuals to bring you the most authentic experience of Egypt, at the best price possible.

Why Blue Phoenix

A Phoenix is a mythical bird that we first heard of in Ancient Egypt. However, Phoenix myths can be found in many different cultures. They all agree that the Phoenix represents rebirth, renewal, immortality, healing, and the eternal fire. The Phoenix can live up to 1000 years to then be reborn from its own ashes. Here at Blue Phoenix, we thought it was a great symbol to work with. No matter how difficult life can get, the Phoenix is there to remind us that there is always light at the end of the tunnel and sometimes we need small deaths (ends of chapters) in order to be born again. Life is full of cycles.
On top of that, the Phoenix, and other birds, have been in our CEO's life since she was very young.
All those signs were a proof that the Phoenix was the right choice for us!

SATAYA (DOLPHIN REEF)

Make your dream come true and swim with wild dolphins for a whole week in a lagoon in the middle of the Red Sea. Full charter available

Join one of our adventurous liveaboard safari trips and explore the magnificent dive spots around the Red Sea. Full charter available

A combination of both our trips, or even a cruise on the Nile. Choose our "à la carte" trip and let us know what you would like. We will arrange a unique program just for you!

F.A.Q

How much does it cost?
The price depends on the trip you choose. You will find more details in the "Our Trips" section. The most popular one is Sataya Dolphin Reef and starts from 1.350€.


Will we stay on a boat the whole week?
Yes. Your accommodation is on the boat (video here). There are 12 cabins. Each cabin can fit 2 people. You will also have your personal bathroom and all meals included.
What airport should I fly to?
Marsa Alam or Hurghada.
For Sataya Dolphin Reef and other trips to the south of the Red Sea, Marsa Alam is closer to where the boat is (about 2-3 hours drive). If you land in Hurghada it will be a 5 hour drive.
For trips in the North like Ras Mohamed & Tiran, it is better to fly to Hurghada.
Can I combine one of your trips to something else, like visiting temples?
Of course, anything is possible. This is what our ​à la carte​​​ trip is meant for. Just send us an email with your plan and your questions, and we will find different solutions for you.
Can children join the trips? What is the minimum age?
Children of all ages are welcome on board.  The parents are responsible for their children. Life vests will help you make them feel safe, if needed. Children who feel comfortable in the water will fully enjoy the trip.
I am not that comfortable in the sea, can I still come swim with dolphins?
Of course, Sataya is a very shallow bay (+-7m) and we will have guides all week to help you.

My Experience With Egypt


I first came to Egypt when I was 13 years old for a family trip on the Nile. We visited some temples while staying on a small 12 people boat.

A few months later we came back for a week on the Red Sea, making my childhood's dream a reality. We would spend a week on a boat and swim with wild dolphins everyday. 

4 years later, there we were again, back with the dolphins for a week, that we would repeat in 2019.

It was then that I was given the opportunity to work on the boat, thus obtaining my dream job. I was swimming with wild dolphins and spending time in the Red Sea. The dolphins had become a second family for me and taught me so much over the course of 2 years. 

About 2 years later, life called me to let go of that security and jump into the unknown. Only certainty : stay in Egypt! I had faith that whatever had to happen would be the best for me. 

This is how I was offered to accompany divers on a safari boat. A new adventure had begun ... I was now exploring the many breath-taking dive sites all around the Red Sea as a scuba diver. 

After all these enriching experiences and human encounters, it became clear that my mission was now to share the most beautiful trips I had been on, and to accompany groups to meet the aquatic world and the Egyptian land. 

So here I am, after hundreds of hours swimming with the wild dolphins of Sataya and diving all around the Red Sea, ready and eager to help you organise your trip!
