Meeting dolphins and the aquatic world in southern Egypt. A total immersion in the deep, soothing and regenerating blue of the sky and the sea. We stay in Sataya, a natural lagoon within a coral reef. The week goes by discovering the exceptionally rich underwater life and intense moments alongside wild dolphins. At the heart of the four elements; an ideal experience to reconnect with your essence and recharge your batteries.
Travel Philosophy
This trip is an alliance between Isabelle Flahaut and Florence Béliard.
Isabelle will accompany us to meet the dolphins and the aquatic world that she knows well and to proposed moments of art therapy.
The journey proposed by Florence will focus on meeting the dolphins and the surrounding nature in the perspective of living a Divine experience, in connection of souls, with the elements of nature. She will help us to connect to our being of love and light and thus promote the expression of our love.
Meeting the dolphins is giving me the time to discover what they have to offer me. Irresistible by nature, they are extremely sensitive and playful mammals. They have much to teach me about the pure joy of living, love, simplicity, intuition and close communication with the rhythms of Nature.
They help me take a new breath and find assurance in the ultimate continuity of everything that happens to me.
Connecting with them leads me to unite with the energies of the earth, with the Spirit of Nature and to make contact with my deep Being where eternal wisdom resides.
Thus, by preparing myself with others, in relaxation and contemplation, humble and vulnerable, through relaxation, meditations and sounds, I will harmonize myself in respect and veneration to have access to the higher realities of Nature. Enter the Divine realm and find the path to my inner freedom that will make me grow in consciousness.
This journey offers me:
• To commune with the living of nature,
• To awaken in me an ability to live like dolphins,
• To deploy my perceptions,
• To listen to my intuition,
• To reveal myself through art,
• To live in love, reunited, as a family of souls,
• To bring back these gifts of life with me and to radiate them.
The lagoon
Sataya is a natural site formed by a long coral strip at the water's edge protecting a sandy lagoon several kilometers long. Its colors vary from sea green to turquoise blue and change constantly.
The depth varies between 1.5 and 30 m which offers a multitude of places for exploration, meetings, games, relaxation...
During aquatic walks, in the lagoon as in its surroundings, we will discover a great coral richness as well as the immense variety of the inhabitants of this exceptional sea (multitude of small multi-colored fish, moray eels, barracudas, rays, turtles, etc.).
Well protected, the lagoon is always calmer than the sea, which explains the presence, almost daily, of dolphins who come to rest, socialize, play, mate, educate the young dolphins... We will have all the leisure to go to meet them in ideal conditions.
Life on board
Our boat has various outdoor spaces: a shaded terrace at the back, an open deck at the front and a large solarium on the upper deck.
It is always securely moored in the shelter of a reef and therefore perfectly stable. The only moments of discomfort can occur during navigation.
All meals are served as buffets in the air-conditioned saloon.
They consist of salads, hot vegetables, starchy foods (rice, pasta, potatoes), proteins (eggs, fish, poultry or meat) and satisfy all diets.
NB all raw vegetables are rinsed with mineral water.
Non-alcoholic drinks (mineral water, sodas, coffee, tea, milk, fruit juice), fruits and snacks are available all day long.
The crew consists of the captain, 5 sailors and two cooks. It will be completed by two snorkel guides. These are available throughout the cruise to meet
(as far as possible) our requests and make life on board easier.
Two generators provide electricity and allow you to use the power outlets to recharge your electrical devices (camera, computer, razor, etc.)
The telephone network is very unstable and sometimes prevents any communication for several days.
For your safety: oxygen therapy, pharmacy and life jackets on board.

In your luggage:
Take a soft bag and not a hard suitcase (storage). The weight limits imposed by the airline are 20kgs.
Remember to label your luggage with your name and address.
The daytime temperature will be between 28 and 30 degrees and the water should be around 28 degrees.
To take with you:
- your snorkeling equipment: fins, mask and snorkel (possible slippers)
- a pair of shorts depending on how cold you are
- a cap/bandana/hat
- organic sunscreen
- sunglasses
- a large bath towel
- for your comfort when getting out of the water, a bathing suit may be welcome
- a few pareos, shorts, t-shirts, small sweaters and warmer clothes for the evening
- a windbreaker NO shoes, life on board is spent barefoot or in non-slip slippers.
It is traditional for everyone to bring bottle(s) and snacks for aperitifs.
Health question:
- No vaccination is mandatory for Egypt. You can find information on the website mesvaccins.net and that of the Institute of Tropical Medicine.
– As previously mentioned, there is little chance that you will suffer from seasickness.
But nevertheless if it worries you, take what is advised in case it happens (homeopathic granules, bracelet, allopathic medicine).
– Do not forget your usual medications and a small classic travel pharmacy for this type of country.
Snorkeling equipment:
There are no prerequisites for your aquatic skills, a basic swimming level is sufficient because it is in "snorkeling" (fins, mask, snorkel) that we will spend most of our time in the water.
In order to make the most of your stay, take good equipment (we do not recommend buying cheap kits in non-specialist stores) and check carefully, before leaving, that it suits you (even if it comes from a specialist):
- Make sure that your fins do not hurt your heels (if they are new, we advise you to bring booties)
- Make sure that your mask is well adjusted to your face and that the snorkel attachment to the mask is solid and keeps the snorkel out of the water.
Travel documents:
It is possible to enter Egypt with an identity card and an identity photo and to obtain your entry visa (stamps are sold at the airport).
However, to facilitate administrative procedures, it is preferable that you have a passport.
!!!!! For the passport and identity card, make sure that the expiry date is at least 6 months from the date of return.
For checks on the boat, each participant must have 2 photocopies of their identity card or passport (first pages).
