Swim with dophins in Sataya

This trip is much more than just a week's vacation on a boat.
It’s a unique opportunity to connect with the aquatic world and our beautiful blue planet.

Dolphins, these fantastic beings, will take you on a journey to another dimension, they will transmit Love, Kindness, Respect & Joy to you.

On the way to the boat, the journey begins: 

The stay on board the boat extends from Saturday evening (or Sunday morning, depending on flights) to the following Saturday morning.

We take care of everything, let yourself be carried away: A shuttle will pick you up at the airport (Hurghada or Marsa Alam) and take you to the port of Hamata, where our boat is located (around 5 hours drive from Hurghada and approximately 3 hours from Marsa Alam airport. The road is very pleasant and you will be in a good mood. Depending on our arrival time and the airport, a hotel night could be included on arrival and/or departure, for greater comfort.
Flight reservations are centralized by a travel agency which is there to supervise and support us in the procedures and the smooth running of the trip.
Arriving at the port, you will board the boat. Depending on the time of arrival on board, you will be served a snack or meal. You can make yourself comfortable and settle into your cabin.

On the boat, we take off our shoes and forget about them for the whole week :)

We will spend the first night on the boat, at the port (or at the hotel as explained above :))

We will set off for Sataya early in the morning, as soon as the coastal authorities have given us the green light.
It takes about 2 hours of navigation to arrive in the bay.
For those who are seasick, it is advisable to take medication or other treatment 30 minutes before departure (very effective in homeopathy).
Arriving in Sataya Bay, we will moor the boat which will remain fixed all week. No need to worry about seasickness anymore, it will have already disappeared by then.

After breakfast, we will give a briefing on safety instructions on board and in the water. From the first day, we will already have the opportunity to come into contact with dolphins.


Activities and organization of the days:

The following days will be spent entirely in Sataya. The dolphins usually arrive early in the morning and stay in the bay all day, sometimes even until sunset.
We will therefore have plenty of opportunities to meet them. We will also have the opportunity to discover the magnificent seabed of the bay: the reefs, the corals, the thousands of fish,... you will be amazed!

The week will unfold according to the pace and activities you have chosen.



Here is an example of the schedule that will be offered to you:

- 6:00 a.m. first outing in a zodiac (depending on maritime conditions) or relaxation, mediation, breathing workshop, etc.

- 7:30 a.m./8:00 a.m. breakfast

- 9:30 a.m./10:00 a.m. second zodiac outing

- 12:30 p.m./1 p.m. lunch

- 2:30 p.m./3 p.m. third zodiac outing

- 4:30 p.m. snack and fresh fruit juice

- 5:30 p.m. Workshops based on the theme of the week

- 7:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. evening meal

You can also swim directly to the coral reef, as long as you always go in pairs and alert a member of the crew (this will be explained to you during the briefing).

You will also have the opportunity to scuba dive and free dive, whether you are certified or not.
For freedivers, you will be able to go on sea trips with Jana, Olivier and Agnès, AIDA certified and instructor.
This activity is not included in the price of the week.


Of course, there is no obligation to do all the activities or outings planned, it is important to respect your own pace and listen to your desires. It is sometimes very pleasant to stay on board to simply rest while a group goes on a zodiac.

We attach great importance to respect and kindness towards others as well as towards ourselves.
This is why we ask you to come with an open heart and mind. You will not regret it ! Very beautiful friendships are born in Sataya.

Meals :

During your stay, you will find what you are looking for in the diversity of dishes prepared on board by our chef, whether you are a meat eater, vegetarian, vegan or others.
Please let us know if you have a food intolerance.

Sweet and savory snacks as well as drinks (water fountain, fruit juice, coffee, tea, herbal teas) are available to you throughout the day. Beers are available for sale.
Lovers of alcoholic beverages will remember to take their favorite alcohol with them…

The boat :

At the cutting edge of technology, with a width of 8m and a length of 35m, the boat has: 6 two-bed cabins and 4 double bed suites, including 2 with 180° panoramic views, located on the upper deck and offering a superb view of the bay.  
Each cabin is soundproofed, modernized and spacious, with air conditioning, new en suite shower room, toilet, sink and LED touch lights.
The boat was renovated and embellished in 2022, in addition to state-of-the-art security and high-end comfort, the main task was to limit the ecological footprint, the generators were therefore modified in order to limit CO2 emissions.


Overnight stays:

For the night, depending on the season, you can sleep under the stars on the deck. There are outdoor mattresses at your disposal and the different decks allow everyone to sit comfortably. It is advisable to bring a light sheet or a sleeping bag, always depending on the season.


Baggage and equipment:

Don't need much. A detailed list of our suggestions/recommendations will be communicated to you, well before departure 😊

Some additional supplements are mandatory and don't depend on us.

Here they are :

• Egypt entry visa (+-30€) to be paid on arrival at the airport in Egypt, to the customs authorities, in cash.

• Snorkeling equipment (fins, mask, snorkel, swimsuit)

• Scuba diving and Introduction to Freediving (see below for boat prices)

• For greater comfort with flight times and travel time to the boat:

  An overnight hotel stay can be planned on arrival and/or departure, at port Ghalib (halfway between the airport and the port of Hamata where the boat is located).

  The organization is free and the room is at the cost price of +- 30€ per double room including breakfast (two separate single beds so if you wish the price is half).

• Upper deck Suites :
  Spacious cabins with a large double bed, windows with sea views, lateral (+130€ per cabin) or panoramic (+150€ per cabin).

• Tips for the entire crew : Captain, chef, pastry chef, mechanic, waiters, guides, cleaners,... There are between 11 and 14 of them taking care of us at all times, plan for a minimum of 70€ per person, for the week and the whole of the crew. We will thank them during a festive evening on the boat.

• Travel insurance (flight + repatriation and if necessary diving). Highly recommended: Without insurance, we do not reimburse cancellations

• The right of access to Sataya Bay, port and navigation taxes (70€ per person).
