The Sataya Experience

Who has never dreamed of swimming on the surface of a crystal clear turquoise sea, surrounded by dozens of playful dolphins, in complete freedom?

Sataya Reef, located off the Egyptian Coast, is simply one of the best places in the world to enjoy this unique experience.

Sataya is a half-moon-shaped coral reef, which extends almost 5km at its greatest length. It forms in its center a sheltered and shallow lagoon (5 to 10m on average), into which groups of spinner dolphins enter daily.

The lagoon actually acts as a refuge for them, far from the dangers of the open sea, where they can rest and feed their young. This almost permanent presence of dolphins makes it one of the best places in the world to observe them in the wild from a snorkel.
